Founder Scott Kahle’s family has been building for and serving homes in the Hudson Valley since the 1960’s. His Grandfather founded the Plumbing and Heating company William H. Kahle & Son.

It all really started with K-3 Builders, a Hudson Valley based father & son & son construction company focused on home remodeling, additions, pole barns, and garages. Columbia Home Solutions founder Scott Kahle was one of the proud “sons.” K-3 switched gears slightly and took on a log home dealership with Beaver Mountain Log Homes. They sold and built many log cabins. Incorporated the business to “K 3 Builders of Fine Homes, Inc.,” with Scott Kahle and his brother Ed as the owners and officers.Columbia Home Solutions Timeline
